Covid19 Vaccine

High Mill Medical Practice will be administering the Oxford AstraZeneca covid19 vaccine to all those aged 80 and over as soon as possible. This is a good way to start the New Year and we are preparing for the delivery of this newest vaccine.

This vaccine has the advantage of being much easier to store and transport, which means it is easier to administer in local settings and to the people in the community aged 80 or over. When it is your turn to be vaccinated you will be contacted by the practice and we urge you to please take up the offer.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic we have had to change the way we work to keep our patients and staff as safe as possible.

Please DO NOT COME DOWN TO THE SURGERY unless instructed to do so by a member of our team.

We have suspended all face to face appointments and are now operating a telephone triage system. Please call the surgery if you have any health concerns. All initial appointments will be provided by telephone for the forseeable future.

If your problem cannot be dealt with over the phone we will arrange either a video consultation using 'Near me' (see link below)  or a face to face consultation at the surgery. You will be given instructions about which entrance to use  and a mask to wear on arrival.

Information about symptoms requiring urgent medical assessment are included in the links below.
